Study Time [Open}

Liam walked into his math class, kind of nervous walking in. He was the only freshman in a higher math class, so he was in a class with just sophomores. He decided to take a seat in the front, pulling out his math homework, finishing it up. He only had one problem left to do. He tried solving it, but he couldn't find the right answer. Usually, his stepdad, Brendan would help him with his Math, but he had a late shift at the hospital, taking care of his patients, so Liam gave up on trying to find the answer.

Liam had kept looking at the problem in his textbook, not understanding the question for some reason. He was at an advanced level in Mathematics, but he did not know how he was. He hated math more than any subject. He more into History than anything. He tried to focus more on the problem but he still couldn't find the answer. He sighed in irritation, placing his hand on his forehead, having his arm lean on the desk. "How did I ever end up in this math class?" He asked himself, sighing again, closing the textbook.

Liam looked, up not realizing that someone was in the classroom, other than him, somewhat startling him. "Thank you," He said, giving Valentina a smile. "And yeah, that's me. I'm the only freshman in this class, sadly." He said, laughing a little. He glanced at the tips on how to get the answer as he reopened his pencil. "Ah, I see what I did wrong. I divided 2.7 instead of 3.3. Thank you! This was the only problem that needed finished," He said as he looked up at her. Liam quickly typed in the numbers on his calculator while writing down the problem after erasing his mistakes on his answer sheet. After writing down the work for the problem and the answer with it. He closed his textbook.

He looked back over at Valentina and decided to talk some more. He didn't really know anyone that well from Beacon Hills since he was new, and he wasn't that antisocial, or at least he didn't think so. "So, what is Beacon Hills like, if you don't mind me asking?"

Liam chuckled while smiling at Valentina. Liam nodded and said, "Pretty much where I was living. I went to Devenport Prep before coming here. Some ... stuff happened," Liam said, not wanting to bring up about what he had done. Liam had pretty much totaled his coach's car all because he didn't make the lacrosse team. However, it wasn't really Liam's fault. Not completely. He was diagnosed with I.E.D. at a very young age. Basically, he has severe anger issues that he can't control unless with medication, which he does have. He just chooses not to take it because it makes him tired all the time and he can't be on his medication while playing lacrosse, which he definitely wants to do.

Liam blushed when Valentina made the smart remark. "I'm not that smart," He chuckled. "I'm actually bad at Math. I don't even know how I was put in this class," He said, somewhat lying to himself. He was advanced in math, he just doesn't really show any interest for it. "I'm liking it for the most part. It reminds me home, so I'm getting used to the place pretty quick." He added, smirking at Valentina. "You're not a nerd, smart. There's a difference." Liam said, trying to say something positive about Valentina. She seemed nice and Liam couldn't be rude to beautiful girl.

Liam smiled at her when she said thank you while blushing. He listened to her as she spoke about how he shouldn't bring him down. He also heard her say that she did that once and it almost cost her everything. Liam was curious what she meant, but he wasn't going to pry. It wasn't like him to do that to someone. Noticing that she was feeling embarrassed, he decided to bring up sometihng else. He didn't really know what he said until he spoke. "So, do you like it here? Beacon Hills, I mean?" He asked, smiling a little shyly. He felt like it was a random stupid question to ask her, but it was kind of late to change the subject since he had blurted it out.

Liam chuckled slightly, feeling a slight unease not at Valentina, but the word she said. Chaos - something Liam knew all too well, and in the fun sort-of way either. More like in the I-Almost-Ruined-My-High-School-Career-And-My-Parent's-Lives sort of way. Liam scratched, feeling nervous about telling her. "Um, I moved here not just for lacrosse, sadly ... I ended up totaling my old Coach's car because he wouldn't let me be on the team. I ... have I.E.D. ..." He admitted, biting his lip, not sure how Valentina would react, so he turned away slightly, not to see her expression, but he kept talking, letting his arms relax on his legs. 

"I let my parents down. My stepdad had to transfer from his old hospital to the one here in Beacon Hills. I can't control my anger sometimes, Even if it's something not that important, I snap in an instant. I want to be able to play lacrosse here badly. I have medication I take but it makes me tired all the time and I won't be able to play Lacrosse if I take the medicine." Liam said, finally looking at Valentina. He felt embarrassed, telling her this extremely bad story about him. She probably thinks I'm crazy now, Liam thought to himself, feeling bad.

Liam looked at Valentina and smiled. Normally would people would either look at him like he were a crazy monster, and reject him. He was used to the rejection though. His biological father, Richard, left him and his mother the day Liam was diagnosed with his illness. Liam never understood why his father had left him when he was a little boy, but as he got older, he kind of understood in his own way. Liam wasn't really sure how to react when Valentina grabbed his hands. He somewhat looked away and blushed while saying, "Thank you for listening, and I'll take my meds more often," He looked back at her a little, with a small smile, still not sure what to think about her grabbing his hands. He decided to just ignore it, thinking that she was doing it to supportive.

Liam smirked and said, "Sure, I'd like that." He said, feeling somewhat eager to hang out with someone after school for a change. He had never hung out with anyone he met while being here in Beacon Hills, and it would be way better than being alone at the house again since his step dad Brendan works all night and his mom as well. He was a little shocked that Valentina had asked him though. at Devenport Prep, most of the upper classmen never hung out with lower classmen and Valentina is a sophomore, when Liam is a freshman. He noticed that the teacher hadn't shown up and he also realized that all of the students were sitting in the desk, waiting for the teacher to arrive. "Isn't the teacher supposed to be here?" He asked all of the sudden, looking back at Valentina.
