“Mama ! Mne ne nuzhno vam idti so mnoy po magazinam . YA polnost'yu sposoben delat' eto sam .” Lacey shouted from her room. Her mother had been wanting to go shopping with her for a while but never had the day off to take her. Now that her mother had a day off she told Lacey that she had to go with her. Her mom rushed to face Lacey in her room, “Vy priyezzhayete , khotite li vy etogo ili net. Eto dlya vashey spal'ni i bakalei . YA ne mogu platit' za vash inter'yer bez tebya .” She then grabbed Lacey by the arm and brought her to the front door. “Take it or leave it.” Her mom crossed her arms across her chest as she usually did when she was cross with Lacey. Lacey rolled her eyes and nodded. “I'll go, but only because I have no choice.”
“Oh, you had a choice alright. After the stunt you pulled during your last shopping trip, I'm surprised you didn't get reported to a hunter or someone... You need to be better in control of showing your eye color.” Her mom scolded before actually opening the door. Lacey felt like hiding right now but had no other choice but to go with her mom. “Fine...” The two left the building and headed towards the car. Lacey's mom put the key in the ignition and started it whereas Lacey found her way to the passenger seat. It only took them a couple minutes to get to the stores. Upon entering the store Lacey grabbed a cart and waited for the right moment when her mother was not paying attention so that she could split off and do some other shopping inside of the store. A few moments later she was free, she escaped over to the meat aisle and looked at all the meat sitting there all packaged.
(Mama! I don't need you to go shopping with me. I am fully capable of doing that myself.)
(You are coming whether you want to or not. This is for your bedroom and for the groceries. I can't pay for your decor without you.)
