Recently things had not been easy for Damien Anderson. After Lydia’s breakdown at the diner he hadn’t been back. He had been worried about going back to be honest. After all, things hadn’t exactly ended well between him and the strawberry blonde. Her guilt had been…overwhelming for the both of them to try and deal with. It seemed she had a few things that she needed to try and understand and figure out. It was obvious to him that she wouldn’t be able to move forward with her training until she came to terms with her friend’s death and her role that she had played in it.
To be honest, Damien was surprised that his pupil’s grades hadn’t started slipping, but he had noticed that someone in his class’s grades had started to slip. It was surprising since, according to records, Stiles Stilinski had done very well in English. He had been very good at the subject and now his grades were slipping. It was upsetting to see, especially since Damien had always enjoyed reading Stiles’ various papers, but he hadn’t turned in any in weeks and he worried that the boy wouldn’t get his grades up fast enough to move on to his next grade. He hoped so, but he worried still.
With that being said, he had asked to see Stiles after class. The boy hadn’t been pleased but had agreed anyway. He had, thankfully, stopped the boy as he entered class and didn’t make a scene out of it. “Alright, your next assignment is due next week so remember to get your rough drafts to me by Friday,” he said with a grin as the bell rang and the students were dismissed and headed for the door. Damien stacked their journals on his desk and put them off to the side as he waited for Stiles to approach his desk.
