Confused. Confused was a good way to describe how Ayame Moon was currently feeling. She had no idea what on earth she was doing walking around the Warehouse District. Okay, that was a lie, she knew what she was doing there but she didn’t understand why she just couldn’t wait for Scott’s boss to return from whatever business trip he was on. She didn’t know that veterinarians had business trips but apparently this one did. As such, she couldn’t find out any information about what she was, well, unless she went to go see a man that Scott and Stiles told her was named Derek Hale. She had no idea who he was, but he had to be related to the Peter fellow that she had called the other day when everything had gone down. That was the craziest day of her life and she had a feeling that things would only get crazier.
Recently, Ayame had been told by her best friend Stiles Stilinski and his best friend Scott McCall that she was what was called a Druid. She had no idea what that meant exactly which was why she was being sent to talk to Derek Hale. Apparently he was a werewolf like Scott. Now that had been a shocker. Not only had she been told that she was a druid, but also that Scott was a werewolf. A friggen werewolf! Ayame didn’t even think that those actually existed but apparently they did and Scott was one of them. He was an Alpha, which was why his eyes were red. There were Alphas, Betas, and Omegas and they usually had golden eyes, but some had blue which signaled that they killed an innocent person whether by accident or on purpose didn’t matter. It was a lot of information for Ayame to take in, but she did what she could.
The talk between the three teenagers had been a bit of a lengthy one and Ayame’s aunt had been pissed when she returned to her home later, but the girl had been doing her research as of late and had finally plucked up the courage to go and see this Derek guy. She had gotten the directions from Stiles and chanted them over and over in her head before she found the building. She nervously approached the building and made her way to the elevator. She rode up the rickety contraption before it stopped on the correctly floor. She stepped out of it, relieved before she walked up to a large metal door. She swallowed nervously before she timidly moved her hand forward, rapping her knuckles on the door. She would have told him she meant no harm had she thought her voice would travel through the large, thick metal door that was no doubt there for his protection. Ayame had heard about the hunters and whatnot. She’d want to live in this type of place too if she was a werewolf.
