"Mr. Cornyn" he said to himself centering the scope into the middle of the mans forehead. His finger slowly eased onto the trigger as he steadied the sniper. -Swoosh-. The bullet barely mad a sound as it left the gun piercing through the mans skull and knocking him onto the ground dead. The young man stood up throwing his sniper around his back and turning toward a door that lead down the stairs and to his car. He moved quickly down the stairs and ran to his car getting in it when a crowd of grey skinned people started towards him. He got out of the car and spoke to them. "Are yall okay" he asked moving toward them. As the people got closer he could hear that something was wrong. They seemed to make a weird noise and it got worse as they got closer. "Stay back" Hykeem yelled at them but they just seemed to keep coming toward him. He reached for his sniper and aimed his scope at the group. "What the?" He asked himself as he quickly fired a shot into the leading one. He knew there were way to many for him to take on so he jumped into his car pulling off into the sunset. He had been driving for ten minutes when hid phone rang . Get out of the city he heard his boss tell him before he heard the sounds of screams in the background. Hykeem was never really one for for disobeying orders so he quickly turned his car around and drove toward Colorado. The thought of what just happened still fresh in his mind. |
