Finally deciding that it was time to stop feeling so sorry for herself, Ayame figured it would be time to go and see her good friend Leonardo. Well…he wasn’t really a good friend, but he was a friend and he was good. Ayame liked him. He was kind to her and now that she knew more about her druid self, she knew that he was a werewolf. Of course, she had yet to, um, confess any of that since, well, clearly Leo didn’t want anyone to know, especially anyone who was deemed as normal, but at the same time she felt like she should probably tell him so he could stop being so nervous around her. Still, she hoped that the little gift she was going to bring him would help a little, especially if she felt like telling him that she was a druid…and knew about his, um, furry problem.
Taking a piece of yellow ribbon, Ayame wrapped a bouquet of spring flowers together. She smiled down at them, nodding her head in approval before she headed out of the house and to her truck. They were beautiful, they really were. Blue and yellow. What kind were they? Ayame had no idea, they were from her aunt’s garden, but Ayame helped take care of them so she figured her aunt wouldn’t mind if she grabbed a few for her friend. After all, who didn’t like flowers? Plus, maybe just maybe Ayame had this strange feeling that he liked flowers and as such, had the overwhelming urge to give some to him and she figured that these were just about perfect.
Ayame shut the door to her truck and started it up, listening to it rattle a little at first and cringing a bit before she shrugged her shoulders, get the flowers down in the seat beside her, and took off down the street towards where she knew Leo’s apartment was. She had been over once, after a full moon, to see if he was okay and to bring him some homework since she found out that he was “home sick.” She figured it would be best but now she was bringing him pleasant and good gifts, which would make her visits not synonymous with bad things like homework. So, as she pulled up to the apartment and turned off her truck, she sighed a little nodding her head before she got out of the truck and walked up to his door. She knocked, waiting to see if he was home. She hoped so or she would have to leave the flowers in his locker or something…
