I remember everything I did and the worst part is I remember liking it.
BECAUSE I FELT POWERFUL. I FELT FEARLESS. AND MOST OF ALL, IN CONTROL.

He had taken the liberty in booking the study room in the school's library for his first session with the freshman he had been assigned to. He had even arrived early, given he had no need for a sixth period as he had all but dropped lacrosse for now, and set up the room. He had no idea what the kid would have difficulty in and even though Stiles had the highest GPA in his whole grade, second only to Lydia Martin of course, he felt like he wasn't the man for the job.
However when his history teacher had given him the chance to bump up his grade, he couldn't say no. His other grades had begun to suffer from his lack of attention and he knew it was only a matter of time before they contacted his father, something he wished to avoid at all costs. Agreeing to mentor a freshman at his own convenience offered him a get out of jail free card, even if it was just for that one subject.
Stiles had let his teacher tell the kid to meet him after school in the very study room he was currently doodling a small fox on the edge of his paper. The creak of the door being opened had his eyes shifting up and his lips tugging at a smile. An attempt to look alive, despite the bags currently adorning his face from lack of sleep. “You must be Liam Dunbar. I'm Stiles Stilinski.” He held out his hand for him to shake.
