Liam was at his locker, trying to unlock his locker, but the lock wasn't unlocking. Liam tried again, letting out a sigh, trying to relax himself. Whenever something small like this would happen, he'd snap. That was the 'best' part about his I.E.D. It is was so severe that even the smallest and very slightest things would make him angry. He felt like he had The Incredible Hulks genes, except he didn't turn green when he got angry, let alone gaining extremely over-sized muscles the size of five footballs combined. Liam tugged on the lock, hoping it work this time, but unfortunately it didn't. He still had plenty of time to somehow get his locker open though until the bell rang, but Liam's patience wasn't growing. He tried for a third time, but still no success. He sighed heavily, his eyes filled with irritation and anger. Relax Liam, you can do this, the teenage boy thought, holding the lock in his hand, slightly squeezing it.
As Liam kept trying to get his lock open, he saw Mason. "Hey Mason, tell the teacher I'll be there in a minute. I'm having trouble getting it open," He said, not meaning to sound angry, but he wasn't good at hiding it. Mason offered to help him, but Liam shook his head and told him that he would try on his own to get it to work. He attempted again, and it still did not manage to unlock. Liam punched his locker with his left hand balled up into a fist. "Why did they give me a lock that was broken?" Liam asked himself, letting go of the lock. He pressed his back against the locker, just giving up on the locker. He needed to get his class material out for Biology, and of course this was the class that he was doing poorly. Liam sulked to himself, saying that he might as well not go to class, since he didn't have his homework and textbook on him.
He wished he had his Study Hall today, so that way he would be able to talk to Valentina Martin. Liam thought was pretty, smart, and cute, but he didn't admit it to her yet. After all, they had just met and Liam didn't want to make their friendship awkward. He remembered the day they first met in Math. She had helped him with his homework before the class had actually started, only needing to finish one problem that he could not solve himself. Valentina, who had helped him, was also helped by Liam who had confronted the student who picked on her in class that day. Liam remembered his binder riddled with hello kitty stickers and used that to counter him on picking on Valentina.
The two of them were pretty good friends ever since then, and Liam hoped that he wouldn't make thing bad happen. He was a new student and didn't want to give his new friends the wrong impression of him after just meeting them, especially Valentina, whom which he had crush on her. He just wouldn't admit it (to her at least. Not yet, anyways).
