Ariel wasn’t a big fan of lacrosse. Not that she was against it; she just saw it as any other sport (though if she had to pick a favorite it would probably be baseball). That didn’t stop her from sitting at the bleachers, with a practice session taking place. It's not that she was overly interested in it, but somehow all the commotion helped her concentrate. She always felt that silence was eerie and disturbing – she much preferred action and noise. So that’s why she was actually sitting with her chemistry book, highlighting important information in it and taking notes in her notebook. She prided herself on being organized – and that definitely came across in her studies. Plus, she had to be organized considering she had to handle normal situations as well as supernatural ones.
She wasn’t alone on the bleachers; there was a group of girls, apparently cheering on their boyfriends (or possibly wanting them to be their boyfriends). When she heard the group let out a unison gasp she looked up at them – a bit amused at their completely horrified looks – and then at the field. One of the players was lying down, limbs sprawled – it looked like someone really knocked him down hard. The Coach whistled and everyone rushed towards him, a teammate helped him up over to the first bench. Coach just told him to toughen up and shove a cup of water in his hands. Ariel grinned at the sight, but she was relieved the kid was okay. With that "crisis" averted, Ariel just got back to her work.
