The situation that Ayame found herself in with Stiles was not what one would call ideal. It was why she needed some advice from an outside source. Peter did well in giving her advice when it came to her being a Druid and her teachings. She had gotten better with various plant life and the like and the different supernatural creatures that existed, but still, he wasn’t so good in matters of friendship. She didn’t blame him for that, of course. She figured that he wouldn’t be all that good at it, especially with no real friends of his own, save for that Kahlee Ford and Stiles, but she wasn’t sure if she should count Stiles. Although, she did get jealous of Peter, knowing that he had more information on Stiles and his friendship. It upset her to know it, even if she was glad that Stiles was at least talking to someone about what in the world was going on. Was he being honest about it? Only Peter and Stiles knew for sure and Ayame wasn’t about to ask anything too personal. She just occasionally wanted to know if he was okay and then she and Peter went back to her teachings.
After Ayame spoke, there seemed to be a moment before Ariel responded. At first, all she said was “well” and it unnerved Ayame. She wasn’t sure why. This really wasn’t a life or death situation, but she still felt that with the pause it made things more difficult than she wanted them to be. After all, it wasn’t like she wanted something that was horribly complicated since she wanted to solve this problem soon enough. Of course, she always could be told to leave it alone, to leave Stiles alone. Still, she hoped that Ariel would be able to give her some sort of advice that would be helpful to her. If not, she would move on, she would figure things out, but for now she just really hoped that the girl would be able to give her some sort of advice that she would be able to use.
It took a moment, but Ariel finally continued, saying that she hoped she didn’t offend her by saying what she was about to say, but her friend needed to get off of their high-horse. Ayame was pleased to hear it, especially when the girl asked why they would get mat for caring, she then said that if she really cared about the friend that she would hang around in the sidelines. She told her to still look after her, even if they didn’t want it. She told her to not do it in an obnoxious way, but just be there for them because eventually they would need her friendship and she would be there. She said that Ayame would probably regret it if she did give up and she could say that without even knowing her, making Ayame smile and laugh a little. “Thanks, Ariel. I was hoping to hear something like that. I mean, I feel at fault because he’s so angry with me, but I’m glad that it’s just because I’m trying to be a good friend and him being so mad at me upsets me,” she stated with a grin. “I’m sorry for bringing this up, I just really needed someone’s advice without them being bias,” she admitted, smiling over at her guiltily.
