Things Never Stay The Same

Beep, beep, beep, beep! *" Mama ! Ne zastavlyay menya idti v shkolu , ya khochu spat' v ! " Lacey shouted from her bed down to her mom down the stairs. She knew she had begged to go back to the school but part of her just wanted to sleep in. She rubbed her eyes to wipe the sleep from them and got up. She could hear her mom muttering something about needing to go to work and they couldn't bring her to school that day. It had been a while since her parents learned what she was and they seemed to handle it pretty well. At least they kept pretty calm about it but Lacey was sure they had no idea what to expect. Her father had done all this research on werewolves in hopes that she wouldn't need an alpha to survive. Lacey snapped out of her thoughts as she edged closer to the closet to pick out an outfit. Pinks? Blacks? Perhaps something to match her outfit or something. She grabbed one of the dresses and brought it up to her neck in front of a mirror.

       Lacey quickly got dressed and applied her eye make up and rushed downstairs. Her books from two years ago rested on top of the table for her to bring back to school. Her mom looked at her with a look of concern on her face. **“Yest' li u vas den'gi dlya vashikh novykh knig ? Pozvonite nam, yesli vam nuzhno chto-nibud'. Avtobus pribyvayet cherez neskol'ko minut . Ne opazdyvat'.” Lacey grabbed the books from the table and stuffed them in her bag. “I won't be late Mama. I love you!” She leaned forward and gave her mom a hug before she rushed out of the house. Catching the bus was a pretty easy thing but soon learned that not all the students remembered her from the year before. She had been stuck in the bus with a bunch of freshman... oh great..

      Once they arrived at school Lacey rushed off the bus and away from the freshman. Now that she was a Junior in highschool she was able to do more things than a freshman could. More freedoms.. at least in her house but she was still under strict rules because of what she was. Lacey didn't find it very fair that a lot of other students could do things and she couldn't. She ended up walking up the stairs towards the front door and entered, the moment she entered a couple freshman zoomed past her basically knocking her to the ground. “Oomph!”
