Liam had just finished up his appointment with his doctor at the Hospital. His father had just finished talking to him, telling him that he should take his medicine as soon as he got home. Liam needed to get more of his medicine for his I.E.D. He had told his parents that he had taken it like he normally should, however, he actually never had taken it all. He would lock himself in the bathroom, and toss a pill in the toilet and flush it every time he had to take one. He would just tell his parents that he went to the restroom every time he was supposed to take his medicine. His mom and stepdad had never really questioned it again. Hopefully, they don't find out that I haven't been taking them, Liam thought to himself. The pill was supposed to make him feel tired when he took one, and he wouldn't be able to play Lacrosse if he ever took them, so Liam played the part, making it seem like he was doing what he was told to do, when actually he's been doing nothing with the medicine.
The only one who knows that he doesn't take his pills are Valentina Martin, a girl in his math class that he met a couple of weeks ago. He was hoping that he would date her one day, but now isn't the time really. After all, Liam had just met her and he didn't want to ruin things between them. He wasn't even sure if that was how Valentina felt at all. He wish he knew though. If only he knew, then he'd know what to do and how to do it, but he didn't. So, Liam would have to wait it out. Liam was somewhat patient when it came to these things, and plus, he has never been in a relationship before, so the experience would be something new to him.
Liam walked down the hallway and had decided to stop at the vending machines. He pulled out a one dollar bill with some change and put it in the machine. He looked at the selections and stuff in the vending machine, trying to choose something that would hold his hunger until he had got home. He had to wait another 30 minutes anyways due to the fact that his mom was out paying the rest of the bills. Once he got his candy bar, he quickly cut across the small end table and swiftly turned the corner, but without realizing or paying attention, bumped into a girl. Liam, shocked and embarrassed said, "I-I'm sorry! Are you okay? I should've been paying attention to where I was going." Liam said, biting his lips while mentally kicking himself for being careless.
