The exit was drawing nearer and nearer and Vincent was rather pleased about it. He was excited to go home and see what his brother had done today as he spent time alone with his mother. After all, it wasn’t every day that his mother got to spend time with her youngest son so this was a wonderful time for the two of them. So, whatever activities they did, Vincent was sure that they both had a great time and he couldn’t wait to find out. Even so, he would miss talking to Ariel. She was nice to talk to and wasn’t at all strange or confusing like some other people he had met in Beacon Hills. Everyone on this town was so odd it was just…peculiar to him their mannerisms and the things they said and did. But perhaps it was just something he needed to get used to.
Ariel raised an eyebrow at Vincent he had asked her about her own guardian, or guardians, he should have added, but he digressed. He didn’t comment on her raised eyebrow and instead waited for her to speak, telling him about whatever the person taking care of her did for a living. It was but a moment before she proudly explained to Vincent that her father was a doctor, an ER surgeon, probably at the local hospital. Vincent smiled and nodded his head in response. “That’s pretty cool, saving lives and all that jazz,” he added with a grin in her direction before he looked ahead of them again, mostly to see where on earth he was going since, well, he wasn’t particularly knowledgeable about this forest. Soon, though, he had no doubt, he would understand the forest and have it memorized. Until then, though, he would have to figure out where he was going and what all was in the forest. Beacon Hills, after all, couldn't possibly just be home to werehyenas. There had to be something else since, well, the family of supernaturals had been drawn to the town.
