With another long day of school and working out under her belt, Ayame Moon was ready to go home and pass out, but she knew that was not something that needed to be done. Despite the heaviness of her eye lids, she made her way to the locker room of the recreational center and changed from her work out clothes and into her bikini, ready to head to the pool that would be open for at least another hour, before it closed and she had to head home to probably eat and do whatever else she needed to before she would head to sleep. It was her normal schedule, well, almost. She didn’t always go for a swim, instead she opted for a hot shower, but today, she wasn’t feeling the hot, she was much rather feeling the cool.
So once she was dressed, she grabbed her towel and slipped on her flip flops, heading for the pool on the other side of the locker room. Ayame stepped inside and felt strangely sticky. It was the humidity in the pool area that made her feel this way, but it made her feel worse since she was still covered in a sheen of sweat. She cringed a little before she headed for the recreational pool area instead of the lap pool. She was not going to do laps today. She would much rather relax. She slipped into the water, sighing happily as the cool water hit her skin before she waded into deeper waters.
Once she was up her neck, she finally took the chance to look around the pool. She found that there were a few people still in there, most of them in the hot tub or in the “lazy river” if you could call it that. Still, she smiled when she saw the life guard on duty. She waved over at Hykeem Harvey, who was still working from the looks of it, or so she assumed. He must have had the closing shift. Ayame hadn’t seen him in a while though, so it was nice to see that he was still working on the rec center and hadn’t left Beacon Hills without saying bye. Not that they were close enough to warrant such a thing, but she’d like to think he would say bye if he left.
