It was another day at school. This, of course, meant that nothing too crazy was going on. Projects, papers, readings, quizzes, tests, and eventually exams. The latter was something that Vincent Henderson was not about. He really didn’t like the idea of taking tests or exams. He was a horrible test taker and as such, the boy had figured that it was high time he stuck his sorry butt in the school’s library to study. He couldn’t go home and do it because his brother would want to play. He couldn’t go to the public library because his father worked there. So, he figured the school’s library was a wonderful third option, especially since once everyone had left the school, it was quite and there weren’t as many distractions.
The final bell rang and Vincent made his way from his English class, waving good bye to Mr. Anderson before he made his way to his locker to put everything away and grab what he needed to study for his test, and do a bit a homework. He made his way to the library, his backpack over his shoulder as he stopped in front of the door. A few of his fellow lacrosse players hit him on the shoulder before they headed home. He waved to them before heading into the library. The contrast between the rowdy hallway and the quiet library was just what Vincent had wanted. He grinned and nodded his head before he made his way to an empty table, plopping down in a chair.
Vincent grabbed everything he needed out of his bag and pretty much spread it all over the table. He decided on splitting up his studying and his homework, making sure to give himself time to take a break in between studying before he grabbed his notebook, textbook, pencil, and a highlighter before he went to work, flipping through pages, highlighting, and writing in strange intervals. This happened for about half an hour before he switched and went to do his English assignment.
