Another long day at the hospital was done and over with and Melissa McCall had never been more ready for her afternoon/evening off. It was late afternoon when she finally got off of work. It was around five o’clock. Knowing that, she wanted to get home, shower, and make some dinner…or maybe order a pizza. She made enough money for that day to gorge herself and her son on junk food. She assumed that Scott would be home, and rightfully so, making her smile all the more as she stuffed her things into her locker and left the hospital staff room. Melissa made her way out to her car, almost skipping at the prospect of spending some much needed quality time with her son. Little did she know, Scott wouldn’t be at the house, but someone else would be…
Melissa arrived at her home and parked the car out front, sitting in her car a moment as she looked out her window and towards the house where she and Scott had lived for many years. She pushed open the car door and got out, approaching her home. She sighed, thinking about everything that had happened. Everything with Raphael, everything with Scott, everything with Allison, Stiles, Isaac, and everyone else. The house held so many memories so instead of moving out and into a cheaper house, Melissa just did her best to try and keep the place up and running. Although she was sure that soon enough something would end up repossessed. She really did need a raise at the hospital, but she doubted it would happen. If she wanted a better job, a job that paid more, she needed to be in a hospital that wasn’t located in Beacon Hills, but she’d never leave, ever. This was her home, this was Scott’s home and they were both needed here.
Pushing the front door open to her house, Melissa McCall dropped off her purse and keys on the kitchen table, kicking the door shut with her foot before she kicked off her shoes and walked up her steps and towards her room. She changed into her pajamas and robe before she walked by Scott’s room to see if he was there. She nearly screamed when she saw someone tumble through Scott’s window. She flipped on the lights, ready to fight them with her fists, which wouldn’t do much if they were supernatural, and let out a relieved sigh when she saw who it was. ”Jesus Christ, Stiles! What the hell are you doing going through the window? You have a key now!” She exclaimed as she looked at the boy, taking deep breaths to get her heart rate back to normal. She then paused. ”Where’s Scott?” She asked him curiously.
