Jeremy Clarke. Peter had recently found out that that was the name of the little punk who had broken into his home, injured him, attempted to kill him, and almost injured one of his neighbors. For a man who was trying to turn over a new leaf, this made things very hard indeed. All he wanted to do was slaughter the boy, cover everything in the vicinity with his blood and internal organs, but he knew that that wasn’t the way to prove to the pack and his nephew that he was trying to be better, he was trying to be good. He had taken young Kahlee under his wing and to be honest, he had quite enjoyed having the girl around. That and he had become a fantastic babysitter. Yes, you heard right, babysitter. Peter Hale, babysitter. The man did it for his neighbor and to be honest, he loved the little squirt.
Of course, when Jeremy had broken into his home, his first thought was what would have happened if baby Jack had been there. Peter would have probably shifted right then and there, murdering the teenage hunter where he stood. Thankfully, the baby had been with his mother that night and Peter hadn’t anything to worry about. Although, it did encourage him to take further precautions towards his home and it getting invaded. He made sure he had an alarm system, several locks, and his senses were on the ready at all times. Then again, Jeremy wasn’t all that Peter had to worry about. Oh no, heaven forbid the man have any time off. He had someone else out for his head, Kahlee’s father, Mario. The man was crazy and not fit to be an Alpha. Peter was determined to soon right that wrong.
Until then, the man needed to remain calm and keep himself level headed. As such, he went out on a run, a run where he could let his wolf free and once he pulled his wolf in, made sure to become the human once more, he realized that he was in a very familiar place. Peter paused. He was at his old home. He frowned a bit before he sniffed the air, pausing. ”Derek?” He murmured before he moved closer towards the house’s remains, only to find his only nephew. He paused. ”What are you doing out here?” He asked him curiously, and worriedly. What would drive his nephew back to this place? The one that still brought back painful memories of the past?
