Friendly Visit

It had been an interesting time for one Peter Hale. He had been mostly working whether it was at his job at Bella Italia or whether it was his babysitting job where he was still babysitting Jack from when he did the previous year. It had been a time, working five days a week and then babysitting in the evenings. Peter had been blessed with the morning shifts and lunch shifts at Bella Italia so he could keep babysitting Jack. It was nice since, well, Peter liked being around the tiny baby. He was a sweet kid, he really was. He was just about a toddler now, really enjoying life, forming words, and playing with new and interesting toys. It was cute to be around him and he liked the kid, especially since he was the only person to ever call him PJ, which he really appreciated. After all, he hadn’t been called that in ages. The last person to call him that was his sister, Talia Hale, whom he really missed and really truly wished was back.

Tinally though, Peter had a day off and he spent his day off relaxing and enjoying himself. A bottle of beer in one hand and a book in the other as he read on his upstairs bedroom, his window open, not at all worried about anyone attacking him, which was great. Sadly, his reading time was interrupted when his werewolf hearing heard the sound of knuckles against his door. He huffed a bit and thought about laying there, not going to get the door, but in the end decided he would get off his lazy butt and go get it. He set his book down, dog earing the page before he drained what was left of his beer and headed down the stairs. He tossed the empty bottle into his recycle bin, not minding the clang of glass on glass before he sniffed the air by the door. He frowned. Caelyn, he thought to himself before he opened the door and looked over at him. “How can I help you, Ms. Farley?” He asked her curiously. He figured he was easy enough to find. After all, he still lived in the old Hale House, or rather the newly rebuilt Hale House, which was in the same spot as before.

Peter looked at the girl, his face almost emotionless as she raised an eyebrow at him and asked about his formal greeting. She said that the last time she checked they were on a first name basis. He paused a little before she tilted her head slightly in his direction, saying that she hoped she didn’t interrupt anything important. She said that if she did, she was sorry and that it wasn’t her intention. Peter sighed a little bit and shook his head. “It’s fine, I was merely reading,” he told her, not saying anything else before she started looking over his home. He watched her carefully, wondering really why she was there. No one came to visit him without wanting to cause him bodily harm, save for Kahlee, Ayame, and Stiles, apparently.

Caelyn stated that she wished she could do as much as he had. He looked at his home a little before she asked him if she could come in. There was another pause before he moved to the side so that she could enter his not so humble abode. She stated that she was visiting because she “happened” to be in the area and thought that she would drop by since she hadn’t seen him a while. She then complimented his home, asking if he had rebuilt it. Peter nodded his head. “I had it rebuilt, yes, and to be honest, I’m surprised you’re here being friendly. I figured after chatting with Morgan you would be cursing my name to the heavens praying for my demise every evening,” he told her, speaking honestly. Morgan Stilinski was not overly fond of Peter Hale, and vice versa. The two were not friends, not even in the slightest.
